Eagle Air has started operationg flights betweeen Húsavík and Reykjavík on Saturdays. This mean that the airline now offers flights to and from Húsavík on all days of the week.
The airline was founded on the Westfjords in 1970 and provided flights between Ísafjörður and the capital Reykjavík. The airline has a strong presence in both Húsavík and Vestmannaeyjar islands and offers domestic flights, charter services, and adventure tours in Iceland.
The Húsavík route has been growing rapidly in past years.
