Framsýn Union in Húsavík has entered into talks with Eagle Air on continuation of low air fares offered to union members. Standard rates for flights from Húsavík to Reykjavík are usually between 22 to 26 thousand króna, while union members can book their flights for only 10 thousand króna.
Framsýn started working with Eagle Air in 2003. Over the last 12 months, the union sold over 5000 tickets, saving their members a total of 60 million króna, compared to full airfare.
