Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Húsavík Golf Club has introduced plans for construction of new club house, and asks municipality to assist in financing. The current 96 square meter club house was built in 1979.
A formidable nine hole course, crossing streams and navigating awkward slopes, the golf course is tucked away from civilisation in a wonderfully remote pocket of Húsavík landscape with excellent views across the bay, and back towards Húsavík Mountain.
