The Golden Circle is Iceland’s most popular tourist route, located in the south of Iceland, near the capital Reykjavík. Highlights include Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir.

Similar, but much less crowded, is the unique Diamond Circle in the north of Iceland, a 250 km route of over 40 incredible attractions, highlighted by the charming town of Húsavík, Lake Mývatn, Goðafoss Waterfall, Ásbyrgi Canyon, and Europe’s most powerful waterfall Dettifoss.
