Keflavik international airport, near Reykjavik in the south-west of Iceland, has been shut down today because of ash from Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano. All international flights in Iceland now go through Akureyri airport, 90 kilometres from Husavik, or Egilsstaðir Airport.
For people coming to or going from Husavik, check for the latest updates from Icelandair and Iceland Express or the Icelandic airport administration to see if your flight has been cancelled or moved to another airport.
Iceland has four international airports, Keflavík and Reykjavik in the south-west, Akureyri in the north and Egilsstadir in the east.
