Taking place over the course of one evening in a typical English pub, Jim Cartwright’s play Two features fourteen diverse characters played by seven local actors, as various members of the local community pull up a stool and let us into their lives. The Húsavík Theater Company will premiere the play this Saturday, March 9. The play is titled BarPar in the Icelandic translation by Guðrún Bachmann and is directed by Vala Fannel. Written in 1989, the play is still astonishingly real today. Hilarious, heartachingly sad and above all, honest.
