The popular smoothie and sandwich bar Lemon has announced that they will open their newest location in Húsavík this summer. The new Húsavík franchise will be owned and operated by Anný Rós Guðmundsdóttir and Birkir Stefánsson, a couple who have moved from Akureyri to Húsavík. Lemon is already available in Reykjavík and Akureyri. The sandwich bar will be located in the former Orkuskálinn, on the lot of Orkan gas station and across the street for the Húsavík sports field and swimming pool. Lemon Húsavík will open on June 17, the national day of Iceland.
