Representatives from Trade Union Framsýn recently met with the board of Search and Rescue squad Þingey to present them with a gift of 250,000 króna for the purchase of new rescue equipment for the countryside. In this way, Framsýn wants to promote the strong work of the squad in the areaWith the gift, the union also wants to thank the rescue team for their selfless work for the benefit of the community. It was Framsýn’s representatives, Aðalsteinn Árni Baldursson and Ósk Helgadóttir, who presented the gift to Steinar Karl Friðriksson, the chairman of Þingey.
